Phuket Province Commemorates 58 Years of Giving
“Vachira Phuket Hospital Blood Bank – A Gift of Life from the Heart”

On May 23, 2025, at the Jamjuree Ballroom, Phuket Merlin Hotel, the Phuket Provincial Red Cross Chapter and Vachira Phuket Hospital hosted a commemorative event under the theme “58 Years of the Vachira Phuket Hospital Blood Bank – A Gift of Life from the Heart.”

Mr. Suvit Phansengiam, Deputy Governor of Phuket, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by representatives from government agencies, private organizations, and local volunteers who have played an essential role in the province’s blood donation campaigns.

As part of the event, Holiday Inn Resort Phuket was recognized with an honorary certificate for its outstanding support in organizing and encouraging voluntary blood donations. This recognition reflects the hotel’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.

The ceremony also honored individuals with a long history of blood donations, along with presentations on the achievements and milestones of the blood bank over the past 58 years. It highlighted the power of consistent giving and its impact on saving lives.
